Spotless place with efficient staff and fantastic view of the sea. Clean bathroom, neat, accommodating room. Great meals with warm drinks. Easy check in and late check out. Lovely garden outside. Great choice for weekend.

Spacious Quadruple Room, comfy beds, and decent decor gave a solid night's sleep. Close proximity to the cliffs and scenic views created a nice atmosphere for a family getaway.

The communal areas felt a bit grimy, with sticky banisters needing attention. Breakfast quality fluctuated dramatically. One morning it was overcooked, and navigating around a crowded dining area was a hassle. Parking proved tricky, needing a bit of a trek to reach the hotel after finding a spot.

Sea views amazing

It was just a smart choice for a rapid stop in Scarborough with great value for money. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty, making mornings better. Make sure to enjoy the rear beer garden in the afternoon.

The rooms were super clean and spacious, comfy beds for a good night sleep. The drinks selection in the bar was great, my son loved the games room. Staff were really polite and let us check in early which was nice. It was much quieter at night compared to other places i stayed, no noisy seagulls! A good stay!

The furniture in the room looked a bit dated and could use some updating. The shower door handle was kinda loose.

The staff was cute and made our son's birthday special with lovely decorations.

We had a lovely experience with friendly faces and an amazing breakfast that left my niece and her family raving! The sea view room was just perfect for them to enjoy. Can't wait to return soon!

I spent three nights in a quadruple room with a fantastic view over the bay. The room was comfortable and had a lovely ambiance. Staff members were very professional and helpful. The breakfast served every morning was unbelievable, with a wide variety of options. The bar offered reasonably priced drinks, which I appreciated. At age 71, climbing two flights of stairs was quite challenging, especially for my friend with hip issues. The bathroom in my room could use some updating, and the shower had some temperamental moments in terms of temperature control. Despite these setbacks, the overall experience was pleasant and nice.

Convenient location, comfortable room, with a lovely sea view, and the breakfast was excellent with accommodating staff ready to cater to requests and provide assistance, making for a pleasant stay, especially considering the proximity to the nearest airport.

Nothing it was perfect.

I recently stayed at the Highlander and enjoyed the spacious room with lovely sea views. And the breakfast exceeded expectations. I did notice the lack of privacy in the bathroom, but it didn’t overshadow the experience.
